At National Storage we believe every Australian deserves a safe space to call home, so we were shocked to learn that 13 young Australians enter permanent residential aged care each week.

By partnering with Youngcare, we will support their efforts to ensure all young Australians with severe physical disabilities live with freedom, dignity, and choice.

This year, National Storage will help fund Youngcare’s Home Support Grants, which provide essential funding to assist young people with severe physical disabilities to move from inappropriate housing, such as aged care, rehabilitation, or hospital, into somewhere more appropriate. This may be back home, or to more specific housing for their needs, such as Specialist Disability Accommodation.

The Home Support Grants help people with extreme functional impairment caused by disability and can be used to buy essential equipment, home modifications, services, household items and utilities to ensure an increase to their quality of life.
