I had a good experience renting a storage unit for a relatively short time (intended 6 months, however, reduced to 4 months). Facilities are clean and tidy, and entry/exit was easy and access to the unit via lift and on-site trolleys provided. Service provided by the on site staff was very helpful. My only criticism is that storage cost is charged per 30 day period, whereas, I would think that upon departure, it would be fairer to charge any final part month on a pro rata basis (after a qualifying period). Overall, a good experience and I would use National Storage Bundall again, if required.

Ordered boxes over the phone, the man was soo helpful and made it so easy to order! The staff in store for pickup were also super lovely!

I looked for a few days at all the storage options and facilities available on the Gold Coast . I am so glad I chose National Storage at Bundall. Dimitri was very helpful in ascertaining which shed was best for me, and although he had a busy morning he made the time to give me a tour of the facilities and answer all my questions. The facility is brilliant with a secure system to access your allocated shed. After pinning in your personal code that unarms your shed the large roller door allows easy access and on leaving you put your pin in once again which rearms your shed as you exit the back roller door. Regardless of your shed being on the ground floor or floor 1,2 or 3 it is super easy to use a trolley( these are provided) and go via the lifts to your level. Everywhere presented very clean and tidy. The best part for me is that the whole set-up is fully undercover so rain, hail or shine you can go back and forth without any issues. Top marks to this business !!!

What is the minimum storage period?
The minimum storing period is one month. If you’re after a shorter stay, get in touch with our friendly team to see how we can tailor a solution to you on 1300 216 803.
How often can I access my goods?
If your account is paid up, you can access your storage space whenever you need to, subject to the centre access hours. The access hours will vary from centre to centre, however you can see your preferred centres access hours on our Find a Centre page.
How much notice do I have to give when moving out?
Clause 8.1 of the terms and conditions in your storage agreement states that you must give not less than seven (7) days notice of your intention to move out.
Am I automatically insured?
No, you are not automatically covered. You may arrange insurance on your own or alternatively, you can take out insurance through National Storage. Under current legislation, we must wait 5 days from the date you purchase storage with us. We will be in touch in 5 days with more information around our insurance. Once contacted, insurance can be purchased through your online customer account and will be applied to your storage unit booking.
How do I purchase insurance?
You may arrange insurance on your own or alternatively, you can take out insurance through National Storage. Under current legislation, we must wait 5 days from the date you purchase storage with us. We will be in touch in 5 days with more information around our insurance.
Once the 5 day referral period has passed, insurance can be purchased through your online customer account. Your monthly insurance fee will be added to your monthly billing automatically.
You can also provide proof of your own insurance via the My Account portal.
Can I give my code to others e.g. removalist or relatives?
It is recommended you do not give your code out to anyone other than the person you have nominated to have access on your contract as this protects you and others storing in the facility.
