I am giving this review to Craig he has always gone above and beyond for us. My daughter first rented a unit and we had trouble with the pin to access the facility when we saw Craig he was so friendly, kind and you can also laugh. So when my mum needed a storage unit I picked Capalaba storage because of Craig and his helpfulness and again he helped...he showed us different storage units for mum and was honest with what would fit her furniture in and must say he was brilliant when we changed our insurance as well.....much better than head office. Thanks again for your help Craig makes a difficult situation easier.

From the time I found myself having to find a location to store my belongings to the actual day of moving in I found National Storage Capalaba approachable, helpful, informative and courteous to deal with. Their professional approach to every aspect of the situation was comforting to this first time Client.

Called in here to send off a package via Sendle. It was my first time trying the service, so I wasn't too sure of the process. Craig at the counter was more than happy to run me through everything and help me sort it out, absolute legend. He saved me a heap of time and hassle, A+ service.

Bought something off ebay and wanted to return it. At first, was annoyed having to go to a non-aus post location. Just because that was what I was used to. But anyway, I rocked up at this location as per instructions from ebay. The man at the counter was very friendly and helpful. Helped us wrapped the package up for free. There was no line, unlike aus post on a Saturday morning. I will do this again. Only catch is they don't give you a receipt to ensure the package gets returned correctly.

Storage FAQs
What is the minimum storage period?
The minimum storing period is one month. If you’re after a shorter stay, get in touch with our friendly team to see how we can tailor a solution to you on 1300 216 803.
How often can I access my goods?
If your account is paid up, you can access your storage space whenever you need to, subject to the centre access hours. The access hours will vary from centre to centre, however you can see your preferred centres access hours on our Find a Centre page.
How much notice do I have to give when moving out?
Clause 8.1 of the terms and conditions in your storage agreement states that you must give not less than seven (7) days notice of your intention to move out.
Am I automatically insured?
No, you are not automatically covered. You may arrange insurance on your own or alternatively, you can take out insurance through National Storage. Under current legislation, we must wait 5 days from the date you purchase storage with us. We will be in touch in 5 days with more information around our insurance. Once contacted, insurance can be purchased through your online customer account and will be applied to your storage unit booking.
How do I purchase insurance?
Your goods are not automatically insured when placed in our storage units. You may arrange insurance on your own or alternatively, you can take out insurance through National Storage. Under current legislation, we must wait 5 days from the date you purchase storage with us. We will be in touch in 5 days with more information around our insurance.
Once the 5 day referral period has passed, insurance can be purchased through your online customer account. Your monthly insurance fee will be added to your monthly billing automatically.
You can also provide proof of your own insurance via the My Account portal.
Can I give my code to others e.g. removalist or relatives?
It is recommended you do not give your code out to anyone other than the person you have nominated to have access on your contract as this protects you and others storing in the facility.
