These guys are great! Super secure and really well managed site too. The manager is Damo and he is one of the best human beings you could hope to meet! I’ve had a number of different lockups throughout Australia and New Zealand and this particular site is the best I’ve used. I spend most of time out of Brisbane, but I’m always greeted with a smile and a yarn every time I return; and that makes all the difference to me for sure.

We’ve had a great experience securing storage here with the help of Damien. Signing up online was a breeze, and anything we were unsure of he happily explained once we were on site. Move out was just as easy! Will gladly use National Storage Virginia again.

Management at Virginia ,in the form of DAMO is proffessional , approacheable and goes beyond the call of duty.I neded a jump start and he even had a pro kit that would start a bike or car.I cant suggest them highly enough and this is my second National storage centre as i moved house .Must be something in the water at national storage cause there all really nice.

With the help of Damien at Virginia, I was able to successfully move my items from the C015 unit to the E001 unit. I made a few blunders in, firstly, entering the gate code incorrectly but Damien was able to smooth the way for me to enter the facility. Secondly, I was confused at first in finding the E001 unit. The door was open when I went looking for it and thought what I was looking at was the end of the corridor. After a quick discussion with Damien, I realised my confusion and when i closed the open door to the unit, it had the unit number on the door. Everything went smoothly from then. As it was a hot day, Damien indicated to me that they had cold water in the office available if needed. I had forgotten to bring some water, so that was most welcome.

What is the minimum storage period?
The minimum storing period is one month. If you’re after a shorter stay, get in touch with our friendly team to see how we can tailor a solution to you on 1300 216 803.
How often can I access my goods?
If your account is paid up, you can access your storage space whenever you need to, subject to the centre access hours. The access hours will vary from centre to centre, however you can see your preferred centres access hours on our Find a Centre page.
How much notice do I have to give when moving out?
Clause 8.1 of the terms and conditions in your storage agreement states that you must give not less than seven (7) days notice of your intention to move out.
Am I automatically insured?
No, you are not automatically covered. You may arrange insurance on your own or alternatively, you can take out insurance through National Storage. Under current legislation, we must wait 5 days from the date you purchase storage with us. We will be in touch in 5 days with more information around our insurance. Once contacted, insurance can be purchased through your online customer account and will be applied to your storage unit booking.
How do I add/purchase insurance?
Your goods are not automatically insured when placed in our storage units. You may arrange insurance on your own or alternatively, you can take out insurance through National Storage. Under current legislation, we must wait 5 days from the date you purchase storage with us. We will be in touch in 5 days with more information around our insurance.
Once the 5 day referral period has passed, insurance can be purchased through your online customer account. Your monthly insurance fee will be added to your monthly billing automatically.
You can also provide proof of your own insurance via the My Account portal.
Can I give my code to others e.g. removalist or relatives?
It is recommended you do not give your code out to anyone other than the person you have nominated to have access on your contract as this protects you and others storing in the facility.
