A huge! Thank you to Will, The manager at Hawthorn Burwood Rd. I read many negative reviews about different locations in Victoria, and chose to ignore them. I went to find out myself the size of the storage space, before I proceeded to book some items temporarily being stored. Will was extremely polite, professional & helpful. Will showed me the storage space, & suggested that I go to the Glenferrie National storage when I explained the items I had, he gave me a good idea of how much more space I would have for only $10 more a month. I highly suggest to anyone reading this, to IGNORE the negative feedback. It is best to go there and see yourself. Obviously the "critics " did not do that, & apparently blame when they realise the space is too small. I spoke to Rob prior to my booking, & he Was most helpful telling me to come and have a look. The day I decided, I called to make sure someone wouid be there, and that was when I spoke to Will who was so lovely & engaging over the phone, & moreover on my arrival. Will showed me different size box options, & tap /bubble wrap they had. Fortunately I had boxes sorted, however i did purchase I. Just mentioning this to anyone reading who needs boxes, as they have it covered, & the boxes etc. are very affordable. The also provide uncuttable padlocks, as well as covers for mattresses etc... Many thanks again Will & Rob for your professionalism & Friendliness. Thank you Will for taking time out of your afternoon to show me the storage space, & for advising me to go for a slightly bigger one at the Golding & Lynch st. location. 🙂

What is the minimum storage period?
The minimum storing period is one month. If you’re after a shorter stay, get in touch with our friendly team to see how we can tailor a solution to you on 1300 216 803.
How much notice do I have to give when moving out?
Clause 8.1 of the terms and conditions in your storage agreement states that you must give not less than seven (7) days notice of your intention to move out.
Am I automatically insured?
No, you are not automatically covered. You may arrange insurance on your own or alternatively, you can take out insurance through National Storage. Under current legislation, we must wait 5 days from the date you purchase storage with us. We will be in touch in 5 days with more information around our insurance. Once contacted, insurance can be purchased through your online customer account and will be applied to your storage unit booking.
How do I add/purchase insurance?
Your goods are not automatically insured when placed in our storage units. You may arrange insurance on your own or alternatively, you can take out insurance through National Storage. Under current legislation, we must wait 5 days from the date you purchase storage with us. We will be in touch in 5 days with more information around our insurance.
Once the 5 day referral period has passed, insurance can be purchased through your online customer account. Your monthly insurance fee will be added to your monthly billing automatically.
You can also provide proof of your own insurance via the My Account portal.
