Sydney Swans
The Sydney Swans Football Club was established in Victoria during 1874, better known back then as the South Melbourne Football Club. In 1982 the club relocated to Sydney, making it the first club in the AFL to be based outside of Victoria.
One of the most consistent clubs in the league, the Swans have won five premierships since their inception and have become renowned for their famous ‘Bloods’ culture. The club continues to build on and off the field, having recently announced the establishment of their inaugural AFLW team and the development of a benchmark high performance facility.
